Sage’s death has been tough says Stallone

He might be the tough looking stunts master in the movies but Sylvester Stallone reacted like every loving father would when asked of how he was coping with his son’s death. The star actor said it is a “horrible situation … but it’s something that is reality in life.”

Sage Stallone died on July 13th from a believed overuse of drugs. His dead body was found by the housekeeper. Sage was the elder of Stallone’s five children and one of the duo from his failed marriage with Sasha Czack. Initially it was suggested that he had been dead for about three or four days but his attorney George Braunstein disputed such claims.

Stallone was on TV show; “Today” to promote new movie Expendableswhen a reporter posed the question at him. Just how is the big man “hanging in there” over a month after his son’s demise? The answer was not far from expected but surely tough from the award winning actor.
“It’s tough it’s very very tough,” Stallone said … adding, “But if you have good friends and your family’s support, it’s just something that’s a horrible situation but … hopefully it will heal and you try to get through it but it’s something that is a reality in life.”

His movie “Expendables” have also played a role in cushioning the effect according to Stallone.

“It’s important to get back and try to start reliving your life, otherwise you can go into a spiral.”

According to officials, there is no foul play surrounding Sage’s death; no forced entry, foul play or criminal action. The Chief Coroner disclosed that some drugs were recovered from the scene of Sage’s death but did not say conclusively if they were responsible for his death.

Suspicions of the cause of Sage’s death continue but just as Sylvester Stallone had begged the public to “respect my talented son’s memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha.” This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives,” Stallone said. “Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son’s memory and soul left in peace.”

Till date, the true cause of Sage’s death has been shielded from the public.
