Kim Kardashian’s Divorce drama continues

TV sensation Kim Kardashian and basketball star Kris Humphries dissolved their marriage in 72 days yet it appears they cannot fix their divorce as the drama is dragging on.

The attorneys of both stars were in court Wednesday but it appears the two camps have yet to make substantial progress on the divorce proceedings. Humphries’ lawyer accused Kardashian’s camp of not being exactly helpful and was thus delaying the discovery process.

Marshall Waller told the judge “I don’t want to use the word uncooperative, but they are not making the process easier,” Waller added that he needs at least four months to get ready for trial.

Kardashian’s attorney Laura Wasser fought back; claiming that not only have they been co-operative, but they have also spent at least $250,000 on the case so far and that they would be passing that onto the basketball star.

“To say I am frustrated is an understatement,” Laura Wasser told the judge. I’m at a loss to figure out what the holdup is. They had a prenup and were married 72 days. To what end does he want this annulment?”

The union or rather non union started on Aug. 20, 2011 but on October 31st, Kardashian filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences and disclosing that there was a prenuptial agreement. In the following month, Humphries asked for a legal separation or an annulment, making no mention of a prenup.

According to Humphries, his four year older wife was defrauding him by marrying him solely for TV ratings and publicity.

Kim’s mum Jenner has also added her views on the whole issue; Recently she was quoted as saying; “[Kim's] really good with her intuition and she’s usually — well, she hasn’t been so right lately,” she said on Bethenny Frankel’s talk show last June. “What’s a measly 72 days?”

Contrary to views that Kim wants the divorce to enable her marry rapper Kanye West, she refutes such claims; “Kris is the first person I ever had to break-up with and that f**ked with my emotions.”

“He told our producers he would destroy my career and me if the show wasn’t edited right.”
