10 million smartphones sold by AT&T

Northern, WI 1/11/2013 (Avauncer) –AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T) is one of the largest wireless carriers and operator in U.S. that have also found worldwide customers. It successfully bettered its own previous record of Smartphone sales of 9.4 million in the previous year and achieved a sale of over 10 million Smartphone by the culmination of the fourth quarter.

The result of the entire fourth quarter will, however, will be clear only after the tentative report is released on 24th Jan.

The AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T) which is based at Dallas has now started employing the Long Term Evolution (LTE) a technology which facilitates faster downloads .Needless to say, this enables the subscriber to save time and work better. Use of this technology has thus brought the company positive gains, especially in comparison to its primary rival company-Verizon Wireless.

Business Promotion Strategy

AT&T Inc aims at achieving maximum sale of Smartphone, in higher ratio than regular phones – as Smartphone users generally need to access more data and thus pay higher bills. Ralph de la Vega, President of the Mobility Division of the company pointed out the facts that double the revenue is generated by Smartphone subscribers than that generated by other customers.

Shares of AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T) were up by 0.38% to end at $34.37
