Marc Lasry steps down as Chairman of Trump Entertainment resorts
Northern, WI 1/14/2013 (avauncer) –Marc lasry, chairman of Trump Entertainment Resorts who ushered its bankruptcy buyout in 2010 of $225 million is stepping down as Chairman of its board of directors. The Atlantic City casino company said that he will be stepping down from office on Feb. 28.
Lasry is the chairman of Trump Entertainment. He is also Chairman and CEO for Avenue capital group an investment firm which is one of the biggest investors for Trump Entertainment with three representatives on Trump entertainment’s board.
Robert Griffin will be Lasry’s replacement as the board of director. Griffin is currently Trump Entertainment’s chief executive officer. Since 2010, Griffin has been a board of member of Trump Entertainment.
Michael Elkins from Avenue Capital would replace Lasry as one of the board of directors.
