Denver, CO, 08/14/2013 (Avauncer.com) –  AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced that it has made an investment of around $225 million in infrastructure progressions in the state of Ohio during the existing year, 2013, to its wireless as well as wired systems.

The well known telecommunications group positioned as the second best overall wireless system in the Dayton region, after Verizon, as per RootMetrics, although the screening was conducted during the month of May, before AT&T’s 4G LTE system had been completely rolled out in the city of Dayton.

With the investments of the first six months of 2013, AT&T said that it has made an investment of more than $1.7 billion in infrastructure and systems in the state Ohio since the year 2010.

The firm added that it has been making investment in novel macro cells cites and Distributed Antenna methods statewide as part of a bigger multi-year attempt with the aim to augment its broadband network potentialities within the state. It has also flourished its 4G LTE system and set up more Wi-Fi hotspots within Ohio.

The outcome has been an added 1,100 novel biz client places in 40 office buildings statewide have appended fiber-optic links for speedy service and improved access to cloud-based resources, and 31,200 client spots have witnessed improvements to their wired IP broadband links.

In a declaration, Mr. Andrew Doehrel, president of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, stated, “AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T)’s network investment backs Ohio’s financial wellbeing and our inhabitants’ capability to win at work as well as at residence.”

“The growth of mobile Internet service assists to make sure that people in Ohio have access to the most up-to-date web services as well as apps.”

U.S. HUD Department Honors AT&T With Agreement To Provide Managed VPN Services & MTIPS Secure Web Access Countrywide

The U.S. section of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) presented an agreement, valued around $31 million, to AT&T’s Federal Government division to offer managed virtual private network (VPN) services to 93 housing and urban development sites countrywide.
