We are not after Michael’s money- Janet Jackson and co

Singer Janet Jackson and two of her siblings have release a statement denying claims that they are after the Late Michael Jackson, their brother’s estate. In the recent past the issue of Michael’s will and the custody of his three children have raised more ruffle than the last singer did in his last five years on earth.

Janet, Randy and Rebbie released the statement through their attorney Blair G. Brown strongly disputed the claims but rather accused the executors of trying to divide the Jackson family. They also maintained their stance on the legitimacy of the said Michael Jackson’s will.

According to them, the reports that they are trying to engage their mother in a battle for financial reasons is false.

“They stand to gain nothing financially by a finding that the will is invalid,” Brown wrote. “What will be gained … is that the executors will be replaced and the estate and the guardianship will be managed in a manner that is in the best interest of the children, which is what Michael wanted.”

Katherine Jackson was initially granted custody of the three kids and last week it was believed that the 82 year old was held against her will in Arizona although Katherine denied that saying her kids would never do that. In her absence, temporary custody was granted Tito Joe “T.J.” Jackson. Last week however, both Katherine and TJ were made joint custodians of Michael’s three children.

The subject of discord among the Jackson siblings is Jackson’s estate estimated to be worth of $1 billion. According to the Jackson siblings, the will was signed on a day that the late Michael Jackson was out of town strongly disputing its legitimacy.

“it is important to stress that Janet, Randy and Rebbie have questioned the validity of the will with no financial motive whatsoever- they stand to gain nothing financially by a finding that the will is invalid. The point is worth repeating- they stand to gain nothing financially by a finding that the will is invalid. Michael’s children will be the beneficiaries of Michael’s estate and the guardianship will be managed in a manner that is in the best interests of the children, which is what Michael wanted”.

Brown concluded by saying his clients will not be ending the fight anytime soon; “Janet, Randy and Rebbie will continue to press forward in their search for the truth in order to carry out the wishes of their brother Michael”
