Stallone’s Expendables 2 a must watch for action tasty fans

Perhaps you were not impressed with the idea in “Avengers” where its the super comic heroes saving the world, perhaps you preferred a real world with real human heroes. If so you might take a look at what the “Expendables 2” offers. This time it’s not Captain America but former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the duo of Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone with heavy machine guns, blasting the bad guys away.

Schwarzenegger though with a little politics-birthed paunch expressed his delight at starring in Stallone’s movie. He was Governor of California between 2003 and 2011.

“I was happy that I was asked to get in the bag,” Schwarzenegger said. “For me it was really interesting because one day you are making policy and you’re stimulated in how you fix the budget problem of the state and about the maze of educational issues and all those things. Then the next day you are on the set having a shoot out from with Sly and all those guys,” he added.

“The Expendables” was a massive success milking in almost $300 million worldwide and after seeing that, a sequel was surely coming. Expendables 2 was co-written by Sylvester Stallone and Richard Wenk got in an array of big names in the action genre; Burce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Nan Yu, Liam Hemsworth, Randy Couture, Chuck Norris and Jet Li; surely an interesting line up.

Directed by Simon West and produced by Basil Iwanyk, Avi Lerner and Danny Lerner. Fans can be rest assured that the 102 minutes is a fruitful combination of the best of heavy violence, gore, botched facelifts as well as sufficient dose of vulgar language.

Stallone’s movie surely is a successful one with the only dark side being the real life death of his first son Sage who died couple of weeks ago. Life is for the living and the success of “Expendables 2” will attempt to form a welcome distraction for the grieving Stallone.
