Tetchy Conte feels heat as Chelsea start title defence

Antonio Conte has proved his tactical acumen wherever he has gone

Life in the Premier League has got off to a flying start for Aaron Mooy and Huddersfield Town while Mat Ryan's Brighton suffered a reality check at home to Manchester City.

As well as defender Terry and midfielder Matic, Chelsea have sold Asmir Begovic to Bournemouth, while last season's top scorer Diego Costa has been told he is free to leave.

Burnley's win, their first at Chelsea since 1971, further blackened the mood around Stamford Bridge after a close season during which Conte has grown frustrated by his club's lack of transfer activity.

Antonio Conte will be praying that his side can bounce back from today's set-back.

Blues captain Gary Cahill was sent off after 14 minutes at Stamford Bridge and Sean Dyche's men have taken full advantage, racing into a 3-0 lead courtesy of Sam Vokes goals either side of Stephen Ward's strike.

Alvaro Morata is up and running for Chelsea.

The 20-year-old initially joined the club in 2014 when he played for the Under 18s, and has climbed to the senior squad to make his Premier League debut during Saturday's match.

Mourinho says Man Utd still in the market for a winger
Ahead of their Premier League opener, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is confident his side can maintain his ideal second-season record.

Chelsea cruised to the title last season, eventually finishing seven points clear of rivals Tottenham, but Conte insists six teams are capable of winning the league this time around.

"The red card was a key moment".

Late goals from substitutes Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud earned Arsenal a 4-3 win over Leicester in Friday's frantic opening game.

Conte was proud of the second-half effort, but acknowledged Chelsea lost their heads after Cahill saw red, a period in which Fabregas got his first booking for sarcastically applauding referee Craig Pawson, who came under pressure from the home players and supporters. I am ready to fight with these players.

Conte returned to his mantra from last season that the team needed to work hard to produce results and he pointed out that Chelsea had finished their last three games without all 11 of their players on the pitch.

Crespo who won the English Premier League title in 2006 during his brief two year stint at Chelsea, Ubelieves the Blues will face difficulty retaining the EPL title this season. "We'll have a game-plan and I'm sure we'll have the same game-plan regardless of whoever plays up front".
