LeBron James Talks Charlottesville Riots, Questions 'Make America Great Again'

Neo-Nazis blamed for violence in Virginia one dead as car plows through crowd

Death toll from violence over far-right protests in the United States city of Charlottesville rose to three, Governor of Virginia Terry McAuliffe said Sunday.

Protesters gathered on Saturday night and made their way peacefully downtown, chanting and waving signs and banners.

The police have arrested a man they believe drove the vehicle, which killed a 32-year-old woman and injured 19 others, Guardian reported.

The driver has been identified as James Alex Fields, 20, of OH, according to CNN.

A man is facing a murder charge after a auto ploughed into a crowd of people protesting against a white supremacist rally in Virginia, killing a 32-year-old woman and injuring more than a dozen others, on a day full of violent confrontations.

"I have a message for all the white supremacists, and the Nazis who came into Charlottesville today. You are not wanted in this great commonwealth".

The FBI's Richmond field office, the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division and U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Virginia said they have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the deadly vehicular incident.

Burnley Shock Chelsea, Watford Hold Liverpool, Huddersfield Win — EPL
Chelsea start their title defence against one of the few teams to nick a few points from them in the middle of last season. However, it was Burnley that came closest to scoring again with Robert Brady's free-kick coming off the post.

"Hate came to our town today in a way that we had feared but we had never really let ourselves imagine would", Charlottesville City Manager Maurice Jones said at a press conference.

Trump blamed "hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides" but did not single out the white nationalists - leading to the WGA East's pointed criticism. The two other victims were state troopers who were killed when the police helicopter they were in crashed.

One of the rioters was former KKK leader David Duke.

Christopher J. Hale, executive director of Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, announced via social media a Mass at the University of Virginia on August 13 "in light of the white nationalist rallies that have terrorized the campus".

The white nationalists were protesting the city of Charlottesville's decision to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

Those who represent the Lehigh Valley and Warren County in Congress spoke strongly against the violence and the white nationalist movement, saying it has no place in society.
