Gorka appears to acknowledge WH is considering handing back Russian compounds

Sebastian Gorka to CNN's Anderson Cooper: Trump's War On Fake News

Concha said the multiple appearances and interviews that Trump administration officials have been participating in showed there was no "bunker mentality" in the White House.

Gorka replied that Trump wants to "give collaboration, cooperation, a chance", arguing "if we can act in good faith" with the Kremlin "then perhaps there's a chance ... for improvement between our two capitals".

The issue was reportedly brought up during the first face-to-face meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump at the G20, but no breakthrough followed.

Justifying the closure of the compounds at the time, Obama called them a "necessary and appropriate response" to alleged Russian meddling in the USA election.

Sebastian Gorka, a deputy assistant to President Donald Trump, said in an interview on CNN's "The Lead" with Jake Tapper that the White House was considering a number of actions in the spirit of "cooperation".

By considering a release of the Russian diplomatic compounds that have remained sealed since December, Washington wants to leave the door open for rapprochement with Russia, Gorka told CNN in an interview on Thursday. "But the fact is there are some issues of common concern", Gorka said of Russian Federation. He looks at the world as it is, not as we wish it to be.

Asked why Trump would move on despite the warnings of his intelligence chiefs about Russian efforts, Gorka described Trump's position on Russia as pragmatic and pointed to recent comments from Secretary of State Rex Tillerson signaling a desire by the United States under Trump to work with Russia, despite accusing it of interfering with the U.S. elections.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (NYSE:FCAU)
The Dodge Journeys were sold in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, while the Fiat Freemont crossovers were sold outside North America. Despite the tumultous week, investors holding steadfast look to continue to see near-term gains despite the global uncertainty.

"We need to stand strong and stand united so that Russian Federation and other nations know that this aggression will not go unchecked".

"We're winning", Gorka told Ruhle, adding that from the Southern border to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation to Warsaw to the economy, "we're crushing it".

"You're falling into the fake-news trap again", Gorka replied.

He said Trump had to move on to address other issues, like ongoing fighting in Syria.

"I'm sad to see CNN fall to this", Gorka told Anderson Cooper on CNN.

Let's start with Gorka, who has sailed past all that kerfuffle about allegedly being a member of a Nazi-affiliated group and exaggerating his military service.
