Mueller expands special counsel office, hires 13 lawyers

'It would be standard practice for the Special Counsel to examine financial records to look for anything related to Russian Federation.

Mueller has brought with him three members of his law firm, WilmerHale, who have justice department and law enforcement backgrounds.

Another sign that the Mueller team will take a "follow the money" approach is the recruitment of Andrew Weissmann, an organised crime expert who oversaw lengthy cases in the U.S. district court for the eastern district of NY focused on the city's mafia families and their infiltration of Wall Street.

"That is a great, great team of complete professionals, so let's let him do his job", former independent counsel Kenneth Starr, who investigated President Bill Clinton in the 1990s, told ABC News.

Though only five attorneys have been named so far, there are concerns over the political inclinations of James Quarles, Weissmann and Rhee. They have donated overwhelmingly to Democrats, totaling more than $53,000 since 1988, according to a CNN analysis of Federal Election Commission records.

The newspaper reported the probe, led by former FBI Director Robert Mueller, is examining Kushner's finances and business dealings. A source said the investigators have also interviewed Coats, former deputy director of NSA Richard Ledgett and Rogers, who testified that they were not pressurized by the Trump Administration officials.

It is the specialities of Mueller's team that is more likely to be a serious concern to the Trump camp, since they point to a wide-ranging inquiry that will look into all aspects of Trump's complex links to Russian Federation.

Cristiano Ronaldo in numbers
It was impossible to ignore Ronaldo, as his team mate Toni Kroos was quick to point out. We are the first team to win it two years in a row and I scored two goals .

No matter what the team uncovers, it will be up to Mueller to decide if charges should be recommended. It was during his meeting with Gorkov that Kushner reportedly suggested that Trump officials and the Kremlin establish a line of secure communications at a Russian diplomatic facility.

"They made up a phony collusion with the Russians story, found zero proof, so now they go for obstruction of justice on the phony story", he wrote on Twitter.

Attorney Jay Sekulow is defending President Donald Trump's use of social media, even though Sekulow himself has denied d, even though Trump's recent tweets.

Trump on Thursday lashed out at the investigators driving the Russian Federation investigation as "very bad and conflicted people", responding angrily to reports that the special counsel is looking into whether Trump obstructed justice.

A lawyer for Kushner also responded.

Mark Corallo, a spokesman for Trump's outside attorney, Marc Kasowitz, slammed the Post's reporting. Scarborough said to Mark Halperin, before giving his answer to the question: "If Bannon had the information, Bannon leaked that story".
