DC Comics to celebrate Wonder Woman Day on June 3

Wonder Woman is set during World War I, when an American pilot called Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) lands on Paradise Island, the home of the fearsome Amazonians a warrior tribe of women.

If anything, the movie promises us that we could see a man who could probably make even Wonder Woman fall in love with him-even if he isn't anything super by comic books' standards of strength.

After the debacle of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, Warner Bros and DC have all hopes pinned to Wonder Woman.

"Wonder Woman is a feminist, of course", the actress told Entertainment Weekly in an interview published Friday.

"Never do something that felt false for me or else that's going to show up on screen - which really helped me in the end".

Joining Gadot in the worldwide cast are Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen.
