New Photo Of Amber Heard As Mera In AQUAMAN!

Strike a pose Amber shared

So far, Mamoa's current bearded, tattooed and shirtless Aquaman is a far cry from the clean-cut, blonde-haired version seen in the comics.

Jason Mamoa will play Aquaman in Justice League later this year in November, but the beefy Game of Thrones alum will reprise his DC Comics hero in next year's Aquaman from James Wan (The Conjuring).

"Lady MERA swept in from the sea", wrote Wan in the caption. Now, Amber Heard, who's playing Mera in Justice League and next year's Aquaman film, has shared a new behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Aquaman, and it gives us a glimpse of what it takes for her to play the DC character.

Injustice 2 Guide: How To Unlock Darkseid

This week, Furious 7 helmer Wan posted the pic of the stunning actress and current Elon Musk squeeze as Mera, the queen of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Check out the gorgeous Amber Heard photo in full in the gallery below!

This look at Mera also bodes well for what other directors can do with their movies.

Before introducing Mera, Heard shared a picture from her dressing room, preparing to head to the filming location. Is she a good choice to play Mera? "Pulling my weight around here thanks to the best/worst workout wingman @yahya #BlackManta vs. #Mera #Aquaman...here we come!" Heard forgot all about her Aquaman character.
