The Big Bang Theory spin-off series trailer has arrived

Conan O'Brien attends

On Oct. 2, new family comedy 9JKL premieres at 8:30 PM, starring Mark Feuerstein, Linda Lavin and Elliott Gould, with THE BIG BANG THEORY providing the best comedy lead-in on television.

Other comedies include "9JKL", which stars Mark Feuerstein as an actor who returns to NY and ends up living on the same floor of an apartment building with his parents, played by Linda Lavin and Elliott Gould.

The most talked-about new series is bound to be "Young Sheldon", the spin-off of the most popular comedy on TV, "The Big Bang Theory".

The clip shows Sheldon's family, including his older brother and twin sister, how his fascination with science started, and how he started high school early. Parsons, an executive producer for the series, will provide narration for the program as the adult Sheldon.

"Iain is just really special", Parsons exclusively told ET's Leanne Aguilera of the young star, ahead of CBS' Upfront presentation at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

But the story follows what "Big Bang Theory" viewers know to be true: Sheldon Cooper has always been in a class of his own. "You want to leave on top, but you don't want to leave money on the table".

"There is a lot more demand for Colbert and "CBS This Morning" than there ever has been before", Mr. Moonves said. Mom returns at 9 p.m., followed by Life in Pieces.

On Thursdays, football starts off September 28.
