Gwent: The Witcher Card Game enters open beta next week

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is starting a public beta on May 24

Which is one week away. On May 24, the game will be available to play on PC, Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4 as an open beta.

GWENT's Public Beta is a fresh start for everyone.

For the uninitiated, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game was initially revealed during E3 2016, and it's based on the card mini-game of the same name in CD Projekt Red's renowned success, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The collectible card battler has been available in closed beta for a while. CD Projekt Red needs to generate hype for its Gwent if it wants to take on Hearthstone, the leader in the digital card game market.

White House goes blue to honor nation's police officers
The Memorial Service began in 1982 as a gathering in Senate Park of approximately 120 survivors and supporters of law enforcement. Both the President and Vice-President added flowers to a wreath that is now at the national law enforcement memorial.

CD Projekt are hosting a special open beta preview stream tonight at 21:00 CEST/20:00 GMT/12:00 PDT/3:00 ET, so tune in to see what features are coming in this new version of Gwent.

As part of the transition from the closed technical test to the open beta, the developer is resetting all progress made. The game is also set for a PS4 release, but has not been announced yet.

Everyone who participated in the closed beta will receive Card Kegs, as well as other in-game rewards for participation. A livestream giving an overview will be aired on Twitch at 9 PM CEST. Both the Gwent Facebook and Twitter will update the game's status. Until the start of Public Beta on May 24, game servers will be offline for maintenance. If you haven't gotten a chance to try it out so far, your only way to play was to play the game inside The Witcher 3.
