'Guardians' Of The Galaxy Vol. 3': Elizabeth Debicki Will Return As

We've been covering Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 since 2014's Comic-Con, when the sequel was announced, and it's great to be able to finally discuss, dissect, and debate the actual film as opposed to trying to gleam insight from trailers, teasers, and clips.

James Gunn directed and scripted the movie, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper as the titular guardians.

Universal's "The Fate of the Furious" moved to second place with an estimated 8.5 million USA dollars in its fourth weekend. It has already banked $951 million outside of the US, bringing its worldwide total up to $1.15 billion. But there are other big names on the horizon, including Spider-Man: Homecoming, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and the highly anticipated The Dark Tower, all of which are set to give Guardians Vol 2 a run for its money. The movie managed to not only be well received, but was a major success in the box office that few expected, which has made the hype for the second even higher.

Fair warning, the following story will contain spoilers for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. According to Box Office Mojo, the film accounted for "over 79% of the cumulative top ten gross". This combines for a worldwide box office total of $427 million.

ComScore also released the estimated ticket sales from Friday to Sunday at US and Canadian theaters.

DreamWorks Animation and Fox's "The Boss Baby" landed in third place with an estimated 6.2 million USA dollars. It's wedged between "Spider-Man 3" ($151.1 million) and "Iron Man 2" ($128.1 million).

"Baahubali 2: The Conclusion", $43.9 million.

"The Boss Baby", $17 million.

At the domestic box office, Beauty and the Beast has pulled in $487 million.
