Kevin Durant Could Be Held Out Of Game 2 With Calf Strain

Injuries happen and things happen.

The Golden State Warriors could be without star forward Kevin Durant for their Game 2 matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night. The good news is that it will not sideline him forever, and the Golden State Warriors have still been functioning well despite Durant being unavailable to play.

The Warriors are also facing fitness concerns over Shaun Livingston (finger) and Matt Barnes, who is on the mend from an ankle injury but could feature.

Through the first two games of this series, the Trail Blazers have seen polar opposite performances from their two best players.

Again, Golden State did it on defense - holding the Blazers to 12 points in the third.

But as we all saw during Game 7 of the Finals previous year, Kerr really sticks to his guns when it comes to minutes, and if he wasn't willing to go all out then, it's tough to imagine him doing it in the first round. He played in the final three games of the regular season and found a rhythm in the last game by scoring 29 points.

Director Of State's Addiction Agency Talks About Budget And Opioid Battle

The Warriors are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games, 21-7 ATS in their last 28 Conference Quarterfinals games and 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 games overall. Aminu went 4-for-7 from the field for none points. The Blazers bench, which showed some promise in the first half, did zilch in the second.

At the third quarter of the game 1, both of the team spotted with the equal score, 88-88. That lead would balloon to 25 before the start of the fourth. McGee made all seven of his shots with several alley-oops in Wednesday's 110-81 win. So while the points per game look iffy, the rest of the fundamentals are strong.

In the game-1 loss, CJ McCollum scored game-high 41 points while Damian Lillard posted 34 for the Blazers.

The first half saw the Westbrook that the Thunder wanted and the Westbrook the rest of the National Basketball Association feared - Westbrook had 22 points and 10 assists in the first 24 minutes. In the final frame, Portland was limited to just 23 points. The Warriors Draymond Green scored 19 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists, blocked five shots with three steals.

"They've been able to get into the lane and then guys have to help and that just opens up lobs and offensive rebounds for (McGee)." said Harkless. Meyers Leonard gets caught in no-mans land halfway between shutting off a driving lane and staying attached to the roll man. Curry puts the ball way above the rim where only McGee can get it and Leonard ends up with a nice view of the highlight. But when Green missed a dunk, McCollum let him have it. The betting line has moved from 15 points to 13.5 points, via OddsShark. "We know how we execute what our bread and butter is at the other end of the floor and we've got to rely on that and not get into that one-on-one battle at all".

"Coming here the first two games, we just wanted to take one".
