Murray and Vogler will also perform at Carnegie Hall in NY in October. It's being billed as Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends.

Bill Murray, the only man who can eat your french fries off of your plate, smile, and say no one will believe you, before disappearing into the evening air, is releasing a classical album.

The New York Times reports that Murray is now in a Manhattan studio working on the program, which pairs chamber music led by the cellist Jan Vogler, who has played with New York Philharmonic, with songs and literary readings by Murray.

The eclectic program has Murray crooning a few Gershwin numbers like "It Ain't Necessarily So", Van Morrison tunes, and reading passages from Whitman and Hemingway as the trio plays behind him.

The breadth of Murray's acting work is already impressive, but according to The New York Times, Murray is formally stepping into the world of music, with a full-length debut album of classical music on the way.

How Dortmund bus bomber hoped to make millions
The match was postponed by 24 hours and ended in Borussia Dortmund's first home defeat in 21 matches. Several windows on the bus were shattered in the blasts, injuring defender Marc Bartra.

From there, he'll embark on a North American tour that lands in Toronto on October 13.

"We are from four different continents", he said. So there's a pretty decent chance you'll be able to go watch all of this unfold live, on stage. "It's just a short journey from one continent to the other", he told the New York Times.

That combination naturally grew into "Worlds" - which will tour North America starting on July 20 and land at the storied NY venue on October 16.
