Anthony Johnson Sheds 'Rumble' Persona, Reaffirms Retirement in Monday Instagram Post

Thiago Alves vs. Patrick Cote

"I wasn't going to go to Buffalo for UFC 210 until I found out that Jon was going to be there", Manuwa told JOE on Thursday.

Anthony "Rumble" Johnson made a shocking revelation during his post-fight interview. Cormier isn't the biggest fan of Jones and prior to the fight made some interesting remarks regarding Jones.

Henri Hooft, Johnson's main coach, was nowhere to be seen and it has since emerged that he may have left due to being frustrated at Johnson's inability to stick to his gameplan.

That controversy came at last Friday's early weigh-ins, where Cormier missed the division's 205-pound title fight limit on his first attempt by weighing in at 206.2 pounds.

Cormier started his career as a heavyweight and, at 38 years old, will only find making the 205lb light heavyweight limit gets more hard for him - but this is hardly ideal preparation for his title defence in the main event on Saturday.

While Cormier could well have passed fluids in those intervening moments, some pointed to the fact that Cormier was holding onto the towel when he stepped onto the scales for the second time.

Select Comfort more than doubles first-quarter earnings per share
The current share price indicates that stock is -8.72% away from its one year high and is moving 44.12% ahead of its 52-week low. Following the completion of the transaction, the director now directly owns 40,742 shares in the company, valued at $917,102.42.

The beaten fighter announced his retirement in the immediate aftermath of last night's main event. Both fighters said they have about 10 more pounds to lose and are still fine tuning before Saturday.

"Stop pretending you want to fight me", he said after his victory. Johnson worked on a takedown again and got it, but Cormier got back up and eventually worked a takedown of his own and moved toward Johnson's back. "Why would I go into another sport that is the same thing as this and you take all this impact and stuff?" It's just time for me to move on to something else.

"We don't want to take anything away from [Cormier]".

He said: "Day in and day out, people are always talking about Jon Jones and myself fighting each other, and it just never happened". I've got to be completely honest with you, I didn't even realize I was doing that.

"He better not come in my cage after I win". So, I went out there and did my thing, and whatever happened was going to happen, so I wasn't really anxious about anything. I've been here the whole time.
