Tiger Woods took his first public golf shots in over two months during an event to announce his first public course on Tuesday, but the former World No 1 remained non-committal about his return to competitive action. It will be named Payne's Valley after famous golfer Payne Stewart who was born in Missouri.

The par 3 course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, hosts this week's PGA Tour Champions Legends of Golf event.

Tiger and his team will also build a short course at Big Cedar Lodge.

Stewart's widow, Tracey, was among several attendees of the news conference, calling the development a "wonderful tribute" to her late husband.

The course plans to open in 2019. "I know we're struggling with it right now".

When Will Super Nintendo Mini Launch?
Though the NES is a beloved system in its own right, the SNES is arguably the most popular (and best) Nintendo system of all time. But, the company could come out with another miniature gaming console this year - a mini-version of its SNES console.

For those wondering why Tiger Woods has been rumored to be hanging out in Branson, Missouri, the wait is over.

Payne's Valley will sit between two courses owned by Morris and Big Cedar Lodge - The Springs Course at Buffalo Ridge to the north, and The Gary Player Mountaintop Course, a 13-hole, par-3 course to the south, and adjacent to a third that is in the works.

Bass Pro Shops founder-and Missouri native-Johnny Morris is financing the golf course.

"The second shot I stiffed it, so ..." said Woods, who briefly returned to competition in December after missing all of the 2015-16 season in the wake of back surgery.

The 18-time major victor was in Missouri for the announcement of the first public course designed by Woods' company TGR Design. It was really cool to go and play a country club because the greens were so nice and manicured and I had never seen anything like it. "Most of the guys on the Champions Tour are guys I grew up playing with". "I have traveled all over the world and played all over the world".
