"We are ascertaining facts but so far, we don't have any credible information about the death of 13 Indian Daesh terrorists in the United States bomb strike in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province", a senior Home Ministry official, who wished to remain anonymous, told Sputnik.

The source said that at least 13 Daesh commanders were among the 96 killed in the "Mother of All Bombs".

The Indian Home Ministry, however, couldn't confirm the death of Indian nationals in the strike.

A security officer was quoted saying "13 Indian Daesh militants were also among those killed".

Following the MOAB raid in Achin, the commander of NATO's Resolute Support Mission (RS) in Afghanistan, Gen. John Nicholson, said that the raid killed dozens of TTP and Uzbek militants who recently joined Daesh.
