Subaru Ascent concept previews 7-seater for North America

Subaru Ascent Concept

The Ascent concept shown in NY has seating for up to seven.

It follows on from Subaru's VIZIV-7 Concept revealed past year at the LA Motor Show.

The Ascent SUV Concept measures 5,050 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,839 mm tall with a 2792 mm wheelbase.

Stay tuned for more details on the production 2019 Subaru Ascent.

The Ascent concept debuted in NY and it is a very nice looking vehicle.

USA troops are still fighting Islamic State near site of bomb strike
However, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has not confirmed the report and said it is verifying the claim . Following the MOAB raid in Achin, the commander of NATO's Resolute Support Mission (RS) in Afghanistan, Gen.

Subaru unveiled the Ascent concept at the NY auto show, now underway, giving us some clues of its new three-row-seat model.

There are more than enough three-row SUV in the market right now including the Honda Pilot and Volkswagen Atlas but those are not what the Subaru Ascent will be going up against when it arrives. Some of these features will likely make it to the final auto.

Subaru has said the Ascent's engine is "all new" and has direct injection and turbocharging, making it likely to be a higher-displacement derivative of the 2.0-litre BRZ engine, perhaps expanded to 2.4-litres or 2.5-litres.

The production version will be built at Subaru's US facility, called Subaru of Indiana Automotive. However, don't expect touchscreen window controls in the doors to make it through to dealerships, and the flush exterior door handles probably won't get the green-light from Subaru's accountants either. Even only selling the Lafayette, Indiana-built Ascent in North America, it's unlikely to have problems shifting this largest model, especially if it can offer a more car-like experience on the road.
