Russian Federation relations may be at their worst, says Donald Trump

CORRECTS DATE- US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson left and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov shake hands prior to their talks in Moscow Russia Wednesday

The US has accused Moscow of trying to cover up Assad's use of chemical weapons on April 4.

The latest veto on Thursday (local time) saw Russian Federation block a draft resolution backed by the United States, France and Britain to denounce the attack, and require Assad's government to provide access for investigators and information, such as flight plans.

A local official involved in the planned evacuations from four besieged areas in Syria says buses will start moving after sunrise Friday. The Observatory has decried the arrangement as "demographic engineering".

U.S. Central Command said Thursday that coalition aircraft were given the wrong coordinates by their partner forces, the predominantly-Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces, for a strike meant to target Islamic State militants south of their Tabqa stronghold.

Russia's UN Ambassador Vladimir Safronkov told the council before the vote that during talks earlier Wednesday in Moscow Russia asked for an independent global investigation to examine the April 4 attack on Khan Sheikhoun that killed almost 90 people.

Tillerson reiterated that Assad must eventually relinquish power in Syria.

The U.S. attack raised tensions between Moscow and Washington. "We want Russian Federation to use its influence over the Assad regime to stop the madness and the cruelty we see every day on the ground". We are watching the regime's actions carefully. Russian Federation made it clear it was unwilling to roll back its strategic alliance with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The US missile strike was an exclamation mark establishing that Trump, for the time being at least, has come to see Russian Federation in more conventional US foreign policy terms. Tillerson is considering the request, he said, "and we expect that Washington will have a constructive reaction".

"With respect to Russia's complicity or knowledge of the chemical weapons attack, we have no firm information to indicate that there was any involvement by Russia, Russian forces into this attack", he said. "It's too important", said Pho, but she warned Trump may be underestimating China's influence over North Korea and its interest in an outcome the United States would be happy with.

"Over time, Russian Federation could seek to persuade Assad to transfer power to a friendly crony, with a few fig leafs of power sharing to make it look slightly like a government of national unity".

Real Madrid Doors Would Be Open To Antoine Griezmann- Sergio Ramos
Zidane started the press conference talking about today's game against Atlético Madrid: "We can not be happy today". Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis is sure "genius" team-mate Antoine Griezmann will stay at the club.

Earlier, Trump told Fox Business that when he told Xi that the USA had launched an attack against Syria, Xi told him he was "okay" with it.

The less-than-positive assessments of relations by both Trump and Tillerson reflected the former Cold War foes' inability to forge greater cooperation, as Trump until recently has advocated.

The British delegation tweet says that Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Director-General Ahmet Uzumcu told Thursday's hastily convened meeting of its executive council that the "Fact Finding Mission is working to gather evidence" about the April 4 attack in Khan Sheikhoun that killed almost 90 people.

Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov told the Interfax news agency Wednesday that the draft submitted by the U.S., Britain and France is "unacceptable to us in its current form".

Syrian President Bashar Assad continues to deny responsibility for a chemical attack in the town of Khan Shaykhun, claiming the attack was "100 percent. fabrication" and video evidence showing choking victims is "fake".

Syria is obliged to cooperate with the OPCW as a member of the Chemical Weapons Convention, which it joined in 2013, but access to sites has been a complicated issue.

Russian Federation has vetoed a Western-backed draft UN Security Council resolution on last week's suspected chemical weapons attack in Syria.

"And Russia said no to a resolution that would have helped promote peace in Syria", US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley said after the resolution was failed to be adopted.

The Security Council is scheduled to meet at 3 p.m. EDT to vote.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Trump said his administration's policy was not to demand Assad step down as part of a "peaceful resolution to the conflict", in some contrast to Tillerson's remarks in Moscow.
