Portland center Jusuf Nurkic out for Game 1 of playoffs

Portland isn't going to get many better performances from McCollum and Lillard this series.

The big news from a Blazer standpoint was the stellar play of shooting guard CJ McCollum, who scored 41 points on the night.

Portland Trail Blazers forward Maurice Harkless, left, and Al-Farouq Aminu sit on the bench during the second half of Game 1 of a first-round NBA basketball playoff series against the Golden State Warriors in Oakland, Calif., Sunday, April 16, 2017.

The first-year Warrior was sidelined for more than a month after he suffered a knee injury against the Washington Wizards in the latter stages of February.

The Warriors lead the best-of-seven series 1-0 after a 121-109 win in Game 1.

"I'm not 100 percent", he said.

Draymond Green 19 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists, 5 blocks. Golden State Warriors might have the splash brothers but it was evident that the Trail Blazers duo is giving them a problem.

Russian police check suspicious object in St. Petersburg
No one has claimed responsibility for the bombing, but Russian trains and planes have often been targeted by Islamist militants. The driver appeared in front of reporters on Tuesday looking exhausted but not visibly shaken by the events of the previous day.

"Our offense got scattered, we were rushing everything".

"Everybody is healing and on the right path, but none of them were ready to play tonight", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said "We still have, obviously, lots of good players". But we all know each other off the floor as well. We can't overlook the importance of Green to this team.

The Blazers were without center Jusuf Nurkic, who is recovering from a right leg fracture. Damian Lillard is averaging 23 points and 1.5 assists while C.J. McCollum is averaging 26 points and 6.5 rebounds.

"We need everybody", Stotts said after Game 1. "We didn't do that". Without the Bosnian Beast in the middle the Blazers face a huge uphill battle against an extremely talented and motivated Golden state team. The win evened the Warriors' all-time playoff record at 145-145.

Ian Clark scored 13 points, Andre Iguodala contributed 10 rebounds, six assists and six points, and Zaza Pachulia scored 10 points. He hit 12 of his 20 shots in 36 minutes and also had 10 rebounds.

Along with the dominance that Green added from every area of the court, Sunday's game saw Kevin Durant and Steph Curry combine for 61 points. In addition to Durant, Warriors guard Shaun Livingston (finger) and backup forward Matt Barnes (ankle sprain) are also listed as questionable for tomorrow's game. They combined for 48 points in the first half and finished with 75 points between the two of them, but got virtually no contributions from their supporting cast, who combined to shoot just 12-38 from the field for 34 points.
