Kids Hunt for Extra Special Easter Eggs at 'Eggcessable' Easter Egg Hunt

Following the egg hunt, Main Street Square's spring festival had families busy with a petting zoo, face painting, and of course pictures with the Easter Bunny himself.

Lily Mendoza helps her daughter, Emily, go through her eggs Saturday at the North of the River Recreation and Park District's Easter egg hunt at Emerald Cove Park.

But for some kids, the egg hunt isn't the best part of Easter. For more photos, go to www.dailycamera.com.

"Someone was crying ... that they only got two things", Kai said.

The Huntsville Speedway is getting into the Easter spirit as well. The church stuffed more than 3,000 eggs with candy, small toys and stickers.

Conte says Chelsea face six finals now
We need to lean on the experience we have in the dressing room and the players that have been through all this before. Chelea's Conte was magnanimous in defeat. "There are two aspects to the current situation and what we do".

"It's a pretty cool endeavor we've got going on here, but you'll be surprised as soon as the hunt starts, they will find the eggs, and it will be done in 5 to 10 minutes". The hunt begins at 2 p.m.

The event coordinators divided the kids into three different age groups, which had their own scheduled egg drops, according to the event's website. "I like the idea that they divide the eggs". Brailynn Hernandez, 7, said.

Christopher Hallmark, special events coordinator for Odessa, said he wasn't exactly sure for how long the Easter egg hunts had been running, but was very familiar with it. And with all the fun and games, the reason for the day was not forgotten.

"I just love watching all that", Laird said about the kids looking for Easter eggs. The recipes for her family's favorites - ricotta pie, rice pie and pizza chena - all call for lots of eggs. "It's great all the kids are coming together and playing together".

"It's about the resurrection of Jesus Christ you know he came and he died for our sins and then he rose so that's what its all about", said event coordinator Nick Saynes.
