Three shot, killed in Fresno, Calif.; suspect caught

Moments later, a PG&E pickup truck arrived at police headquarters at Fresno and M streets to report his passenger had been shot by a gunman who approached them, he said.

Three people were shot and killed after a man went on a shooting rampage Tuesday in Fresno, randomly shooting at four white men, killing three, before he was taken into custody, police Chief Jerry Dyer said.

Muhammad fired 16 rounds within 60 to 90 seconds, Dyer said.

Police say 39-year-old Kori Ali Muhammad was arrested shortly after the shooting.

Muhammad was also wanted in connection to the shooting death of a secruity guard at a Fresno Motel 6.

None of the victims worked at the charity, he said. Dyer called it a “random act of violence.”. He also posted about "white devils".

Dyer said police have examined Muhammad's Facebook account, where they found "some posts that say he does not like white people" as well as others that "expressed some antigovernment sentiments". In addition to these three counts of murder, Muhammad is being charged with two counts of attempted murder and a fourth count for the fatal shooting of security guard in Fresno on Sunday. "I shot them", the police chief said.
