Huh? CNN: Jewish Ivanka Trump Boycotting Easter Egg Roll?

First lady Melania Trump gave a shoutout Monday to US troops as she welcomed visitors to the 139th annual White House Easter Egg Roll.

With the Easter Egg Roll behind them, the White House traditionally would turn their sights to The White House Correspondent's Dinner but Trump will not be attending that event, the first president in 36 years to do so.

But a downsized version of the 139-year-old event is kicking off early Monday on the South Lawn.

Since the White House isn't fully staffed yet, this year's event is actually smaller than last year's, when 35 thousand people attended. On Sunday, the first family congratulated the Americans with Easter, the White House invited 200,000 kids to celebrate this day.

The egg rolling event, which dates back to 1878, was smaller than previous years - down from the 35,000 people who got tickets last year - but retained such activities as a reading nook where messages can be sent to U.S. troops.

Bilic says Irons must be… West Ham united
We are playing home against a team that, we can say they're playing good, but they are five points behind us. Guardiola had said last week that "qualifying for the Champions League is definitely like winning a trophy".

The annual event, which started in the 19th century, was an opportunity for First Lady Melania Trump to host a high-profile event.

Even the Easter Bunny had his hand over his heart, only the "America First" president required a nudge from his better part to remind him of his civic duty. And, well, since the president is who he is, he got in a little remark about what a great job he's doing, too. One widely shared US Weekly article cited "a family insider" as saying Melania Trump was considering staying in Trump Tower. "We're right on track", Trump said according to a report by the NBC News.

"I like this book because it shows that we are all different but we are all the same", she said.

Melania and Barron had both raised their hands to their hearts as a sign of respect, but Trump's mind appeared to have wandered elsewhere. "We are right on track", he said.
