The Animal Egg Hunt was a little different from a normal Easter egg hunt.

But on Saturday, she was inside an at least eight-foot-tall, big-eared, white-furry Easter bunny costume as adoring children attending Uptown Martinsville Easter egg hunts had their pictures taken with her. "I am very experienced with Easter Egg hunts", says Dylan Fletcher, a 6 year old partaking in the hunt.

About 3,000 eggs were hidden in the Allen Park playground area on Saturday for the 70th annual Easter Egg Hunt in Jamestown.

Based on the large crowd and the abundance of smiles, it appears the community event accomplished was the organizers had always meant for it to do - bring people together to enjoy the day.

There will be 60 prize eggs, 20 for each age groups.

"It was fun. I just like chocolate".
