Automata Colosseum DLC Announced and Detailed — NieR

Nier Automata PC

Automata was never supposed to be this successful.

On the One Million Shipments live stream for Nier: Automata, it was revealed that new DLC will be coming to the game, that will bring new hair colour, costumes and CEO battles.

There's something about seeing the CEOs behind NieR: Automata float down in all of their omnipotent glory that seems to capture everything about Yoko Taro that gamers unfamiliar with the director need to know.

Microsoft Edition Samsung Galaxy S8 to launch on April 21
One piece everyone's talking about is the DeX Dock, which is Samsung's desktop PC-like experience. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

It's amusing to think that one of the more complicated stories found in a video game this year, with Nier Automata, is getting such a silly DLC, but that just goes to show that you don't need to take things seriously all the time. Later on, developer Platinum Games' president and CEO, Kenichi Sato, also joins the fight.

Publisher Square-Enix confirmed that the DLC will be heading to the West though an exact release date wasn't provided. Mastery of these challenges will grant rewards, including a range of costumes, new music tracks, and various other pieces of equipment and cosmetic accessories. These include new outfits for 2B, 9S, and A2 that you can see in the gallery below; they're based on ones from the Japan-only game Nier: Replicant. NieR: Automata is available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
