Man United beats Chelsea 2-0 to open up EPL title race

It’s not about the size of your hands... actually yes it

Chelsea's all-time top goalscorer Lampard won three league titles at Stamford Bridge, and said Conte's men must forget their latest setback as they did the 3-0 defeat at Arsenal in September, with the Blues bouncing back from that loss to win 13 games in a row.

United had total control throughout this encounter as Chelsea failed to have a shot on target and Mourinho's old team started to show that cracks are appearing as Tottenham hunt them down in the Premier League title race.

Goals from Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera ensured that the title race in the English Premier League is far from over while giving Jose Mourinho a sweet revenge over his former employers.

United doubled their advantage four minutes into the second half, with Herrera - dismissed in last month's FA Cup meeting between the sides - the scorer on this occasion. Moreno had the chance to seal the points but missed an open goal from just inside the West Brom half. They are now just four points behind their cross town rivals Manchester City for fourth place, with a game in hand on the citizens.

Chelsea have a favourable run-in but Conte is wary having dropped points in recent weeks, including a costly slip-up at home to Crystal Palace at the beginning of April. When they tried to play counter attack we were always in control of these two link positions.

United remain in fifth place while Chelsea see their lead at the top of the table cut to four points.

'Fate of the Furious' races to $100.2 million opening
The film opened in China on the same day that it opened in the rest of the world. The pic skewed male at 58%, more than the last film at 51%.

Fabregas came on in the last 10 minutes at Old Trafford, when Chelsea were crying out for him in the first half as they were very predictable in possession.

The Blues were struggling to get into the game and could not make an impact before the break, meaning they headed in 1-0 behind.

Jose Mourinho has explained the tactics that helped Manchester United comfortably beat Chelsea on Sunday.

Some felt Mourinho was resting Zlatan to have a better chance at advancing in the Europa League because winning that would also gain a Champions League spot.

With a goal and an assist, it's no surprise Mourinho praised the 27-year-old's all-round performance. United's defense was so smothering on Chelsea that they didn't register a single shot on target. They did so again after he made it 2-0 with a shot that clipped off the heel of Kurt Zouma and span beyond an unsighted Begovic, helping United end its 12-match winless run against Chelsea dating back to 2012.

Chelsea was without first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who was injured, and wing back Marcos Alonso pulled out of the game during the warm-up after suffering from a virus during the week. It's United's longest ever winless streak against a single opponent in the league.
