Janet Jackson Ditches Hijab After Separation From Husband

Janet Jackson

Jackson gave birth to Eissa, her first child, on January 3 at the age of 50.

The news comes after it was recently reported the That's The Way Love Goes hitmaker is focusing all her attention on Eissa after she reportedly split from Al Mana earlier this month.

Wearing a slick of black eyeliner and also snuggled up in a black blanket, Janet looks relaxed and content with her baby son.

The singer said past year that her Unbreakable tour was being delayed because she and Mr Al Mana were "planning our family".

Snuggling the yawning baby close to her face, Janet writes "My baby and me after nap time". Bustle reached out to Jackson's rep for comment at the time, but did not receive an immediate response. On Friday, shortly before sharing the selfie with fans, Jackson made one of her first public appearances with her baby boy in a park in London, England since giving birth.

Jackson and Al Mana Wednesday in 2012. They say the only reason she returned was because the handwriting was on the wall and the judge was about to throw out the case against Trent unless she returned.

Syrian TV says dozens killed in blast near evacuation buses
A media unit run by Damascus ally Hezbollah said the attack was carried out by a suicide auto bomb and killed at least 40 people. The buses were carrying almost 5,000 people from Foua and Kfraya, villages in northern Syria that have been besieged by rebels.

A source said: "Janet is ecstatic".

Proud new mum showed off her baby son.

Hopefully, despite the chaos of her current relationship status, Janet is just enjoying spending her time as a mom because she's waited a long time to get here.

Posting the image on Twitter and Instagram last night, Janet is seen holding her baby, gently kissing his head. "She has some of the best doctors that helped her through it", the source added.

"Janet loves Wissam, but she wants her life back", the friend said.
